  • Serving Army, Navy or Air force (hereinafter termed as Defence ) personnel.

MBA (Full-time residential):

Candidate should be a graduate from any recognised University / Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade at graduation level. Defence category candidates should be son/ daughter/ spouse of Defence personnel. Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

Important: It is the responsibility of the Candidates to ascertain whether they possess the requisite qualifications for admission. Having been admitted provisionally does not mean acceptance of eligibility. Final eligibility for admission will be decided by Symbiosis International (Deemed University). Programme Structure

Full time 2 years MBA Programme spread over 4 semesters.

Marketing

The curriculum focuses on leadership and executive management development in order to provide students with the skills and qualifications necessary to successfully target market strategies, consumer behavior, market research and product management.

Finance

The finance specialization is designed to provide a means for students to gain exposure to five major fields in the field of finance namely corporate finance, financial institutions, investments, insurance and personal financial planning including modules on portfolio management, financial analysis, decision making and international financial management.

Operations & SCM

The operations curriculum focuses on the design and management of the processes by which products are manufactured and services are delivered to customers. The core course provides an overview of the field and Critical processes that enable service delivery systems, supply chain, and quality improvement efforts.

Human Resource Management

The course focuses on various facets of organizational design, motivation, leadership, strategic human resource management, compensation, negotiation, teams, managing change and business ethics.

The brief structure of evaluation and assessment is as follows:

  • Examination and Evaluation (MBA):

From academic year 2015 onwards CGPA system change in to Choice Based Credit System (CBCS)

ATKT Rules for 2 years & 2 ½ Years Program (Batch 2015 onwards):
  • He/She cannot appear for end Semester –3 exams if he/she has CGPA less than 4.000 upto Semester-1 irrespective of number of backlogs.

  • He/She cannot appear for end Semester –4 exams if he/she has CGPA less than 4.000 upto Semester-2 irrespective of number of backlogs

  • He/She cannot appear for end Semester –5 exams if he/she has CGPA less than 4.000 upto Semester-3 irrespective of number of backlogs.

Award of Degree:
  • Degree will be awarded after taking into consideration the performance of the candidates in all 4 semesters taken together.

Issue of Duplicate Diploma Certificates & Mark sheets

Year 2008 onward Batches conducted under Symbiosis International (Deemed University) (SIU) to be referred to SIU as per their instructions on website.

  • Application for issue of duplicate Diploma Certificate or Mark Sheet (PGDM) with reason signed by the candidate and affidavit on Rs.100/- stamp paper notarized or FIR. Application-form for Duplicate Certificate & Affidavit

  • Photocopy of certificate (If held) & mark sheets with the application.

  • Father’s Name & Date of Birth of Candidate. (for Duplicate Diploma only)

  • For Duplicate Grade Sheet Rs. 1000/- will be charged per grade sheet and for Duplicate Diploma Certificate Rs. 2000/- will be charged. Additionally Rs. 250/- charged for postal / courier charges within India.

  • Minimum 15 day's of time would be required to complete the duplicate issue process.

  • You may send payment of the fees through DD made in favor of "Director SIMS" payable at Pune

Transcripts

Procedure for issue of Transcripts

Year 2008 onward Batches conducted under Symbiosis International Deemed University (SIU) to be referred to SIU as per their instructions on website (www.siu.edu.in) General Instructions for Transcript Online Application or 020-28116223/24/25/6839 and +91-20-61936223/24/25/6839

The procedure of issue of above mention documents will be on follows for PGDM 1993 to 2007 Batches.

  • Application for issue of Transcripts with reason and signed by the applicant

  • Photocopy of certificate & mark sheets with the application.

  • The processing fee for issue of one transcript is Rs. 1500/- and for each extra copy is Rs. 100/-. Add Rs. 250/- postal/courier charges within India and Rs.2500/- for WES Canada.

  • Please write Postal Address & contact No with the Application.

  • Transcripts will be dispatched on your address in India in sealed envelopes for your further handing over to concerned Institutes or University.

  • Minimum 15 day's time would be required to complete the Transcripts issue process.

  • You may send payment of the fees through DD made in favor of "Director SIMS" payable at Pune

TC And Migration

Procedure for issue of Transfer Certificate (TC) and Migration Certificate
Year 2008 onward Batches conducted under Symbiosis International University (SIU) to follow undermentioned procedures for issue of TC and Migration Certificate.

(A) Issue to Transfer Certificate

  • TC will be issued by the Institute on paying fees of Rs.100/- cash or payment should be made through Demand Draft in favor of “Director SIMS” payable at Pune.

  • On receipt of Application & processing fees, TC will be issued by Examination Department to Admin Department for further dispatch to SIU along with SIU Migration form applied for issue Migration Certificate.

(B) Issue of Migration Certificate

  • Down load the SIU Migration form on given link https://siu.edu.in/downloads.php / https://siu.edu.in/pdf/resources/Application%20Form%20for%20Migration%20Certificate.pdf take the printout, complete the form, attached the documents as mentioned in the form and forward this to Institute (Admin Department- SIMS).

  • The application fee for issuing a Migration form, the processing fee is Rs. 500/- and to be paid through DD made in favor of Symbiosis International University, payable at Pune.

  • Please write your name contact number and word for Fees for issue of Migration Certificate on back side of DD. Contact No. 020-61936837 / 6297.

  • On receipt of Migration form duly completed/documents and processing fees from the Alumni this Institute (Admin Department) will complete it and will forward the same along with original TC (Received from Exam Department) to SIU for further necessary action.

Migration Certificate will be sent across through Courier/Registered Post.
