SIMS encourages participative and experiential learning. SIMS provides corporate mentoring and job shadowing opportunities to its students. This helps to bridge up the gap between corporates and academia as well prepare students for corporate world. SIMS has tied up with various corporates and industries pan India to facilitate young talents preparedness. Corporate mentors include Senior managers, Vice presidents across functional areas along with CHROs, Chief executives and operating officers. They have been more than willing and helpful in guiding students in the form of mentors, coaches, individual interaction, addressing them in seminars and conferences. SIMS corporate Shadow Programme is one of unique program at SIMS. In which students goes for 3 days training , in the professional set up. Student is provided flexibility in choosing area of its career interest as per the specialization. They learn corporate culture and ethics along with observing basic functions associated with the career goal. The program is aimed at enabling students to be better equipped for their Summer Internship and live projects.
