JP Morgan Scholarship
Every year JP Morgan offers scholarship to the bright finance students of SIMS. JPMorgan's Launching Leaders is about recognizing and rewarding exceptional students - people with unique experiences and diverse backgrounds. Selection is based on academic performance and a case study presentation and only those students are selected who demonstrate intelligence, ambition and a serious interest in global finance.
Pranay
Pranay is a social initiative managed by SIMS students. It is a combined effort by the entire SIMS family to contribute to society in some manner. Pranay helps less fortunate people in realizing their true potential and value. This is done by working with NGOs and by comprehending the significance of CSR activities. Pranay is associated with NGOs like Akanksha, Pankhudi, Maher, Muktangan, Mobile Creches, Adhar Sparsh, Green Hills Group. Pranay is also associated with few companies like Infosys and John Deere.

Faculty Development Programee
SIMS conducted an FDP on "Case Writing" on 10th, 11th and 12th Oct 2012 with the objective to develop skills in writing case studies amongst the academic community. The program was conducted by Brig. Rajiv Divekar (Retd), Dr. BR Londhe and Prof. Komal Chopra. Faculty members from various institutions attended the program and learnt the tools and techniques adopted in case writing.
Centre for Corporate Governance
SIMS is the only accredited Centre for Corporate Governance of the National Foundation for Corporate Governance in Pune. The NFCG has been established by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and CII with support from ICAI and ICSI.
The Centres singular focus is to enhance knowledge on important aspects of good Corporate Governance norms amongst the senior management and boards of companies through dissemination of appropriate programs in association with experienced persons practicing in the field... More
