Our students are motivated, high achievers and have been nurtured and equipped as future-ready managers for a cross-continental environment. They invariably attract a wide array of blue chip recruiters year after year.

Final campus placement process at SIMS starts from November/December. Time slots are allocated to organizations to conduct their recruitment process depending upon their previous relationships with the institute and the preferences of the students. “Head Placements, SIMS” coordinates the schedule.

Summer projects process for selecting junior batch students commences in October/November. Companies are invited to campus to short list candidates for summer placements.

SIMS continuously achieves an enviable and outstanding placement record with an ever widening range of multi-national and national companies recruiting from campus for final placements and summer placements.

Overview

The Placement Season of 2017 has been one of the most remarkable and momentous season of SIMS.

  • Final Placement of 210 students took place in a span of 18 days.
  • Summer Internship Process was over in two months and 100 % students were placed. The stipend was ranging from Rs 10,000 – 70,000 with an average stipend of Rs 25,000w.

The 6th consecutive Global leaders’ corporate summit was held with great success on 3rd of November, Friday at Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS) Pune. It was a great learning experience for SIMS Students with lot of modern Ideas as Artificial Intelligence being requisite for industries to keep pace with today’s fast growing business world. AI needs to be coupled with Human Intelligence and supported by Technology to gain Business sustainability concluded the Panellists.

Industry 4.0 should be India’s Battle Cry was the topic discussed by Mr. Ettore Cuchetti - ACG Pharmagents, Mr. Sajeev Sularia - Intelligence Node, Mr. KV Praveen - Larsen and Toubro and Mr. Sanjay Gawde- Pencilworks Learning Pvt Ltd . The discussion was taken to an altogether next level. They felt a need to Implement Industry 4.0 responsibly without hampering Customer Satisfaction, Sales and growth and ensuring Cost optimization. The panellists argued that the Internal and External environment like Industry, Society and Politics plays a vital role in the transformation and emphasized on the joint effort of the Environment in this major transformation.

Mr. Priyanshu Singh - Adecco India Gromediaup, Mr.Srikanth Dorairajan - Capgemini,     Mr. Susshruth Apshankar - SG Analytics, Dr. Murali Padmanabhan - Virtusa Corporation, Mr. Rajat Mathur - Morgan Stanley and Mr. Warren Patrick - YES Bank discussed on  “Uberization in Consulting : A consultant is on the way” 

All the panellists firmly believed that there’s a need to seek the Opportunity and  that’s what Uberization is. Affordability of consulting is another criterion that  marketers need to seek for an Uber based consulting. They see huge potential in this sphere especially for SME’s of the country but yes “Opportunity” is the crux.

Brand Marketing and News Jacking : A Quest for Customer Loyalty

Prominent faces like Mr. Vynsley Fernandes - Castle Media Pvt Ltd, Ms. Manjula Nair - Creative Bharat Pvt Ltd, Mr. Ajit Thakur - Eros International, Ms. Nikitsha Chopra - Ping Network and Mr. Pradeep Dwivedi - Sakal Media Group highlighted the Importance of Brand and Customer Loyalty. They mentioned News Jacking also is catching up fast and it is now Imperative for Brands to seek for relevant News and create a story around that. Mr. Pradeep Dwidedi – Sakal Congratulated SIMS on completing 25 years and mentioned that business is nothing but marketing. It is the ability of channel/Medium to establish that loyalty. He said Credible Message is the essence to maintain the success of any businesses. The Panellists also shared insights on how to create a brand of themselves and how to make a pragmatic use of Social Media and digital platforms in reaching out to today’s marketers and brand houses.
