Dr. Ravi Gajendran is Associate Professor and Alvah Chapman Eminent Scholar Endowment Chair in the Global Leadership and Management Department (GLAM) at Florida International University. He is also the Department Chair of the Global Leadership and Management Department. He received his PhD in Organizational Behavior from Pennsylvania State University. He also has an MBA from IIM Calcutta.
Before entering the doctoral program at Penn State, he had a career in sales and marketing for over seven years working for multinationals such as Cadbury’s and Procter & Gamble. Prior to joining FIU, Ravi was on the faculty of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he featured on the List of Teachers Ranked as Excellent for every year he taught there. He has taught courses on organizational behavior, leadership, and human resource management at PhD, MBA, and undergraduate levels. He has won multiple teaching awards at FIU including Faculty Excellence and Course Excellence Awards. His areas of research expertise include telecommuting and virtual teams, impacts of communication technology, leadership, and human capital development. He is a member of the editorial board of three top-tier journals: Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, and Journal of Management. His research has been featured in several prominent media outlets including New York Times, USA Today, Fox Business News, Entrepreneur.com, Inc.com, and Forbes. In addition to publishing his research in top-tier journals, he has also written articles for managers that have been published in Harvard Business Review and Business Today. Dr. W B Howieson, PhD MPhil MBA BSc FRSA, is Associate Dean for Business Engagement and Professor of Organisational Leadership in Stirling Management School. His research covers the broad spectrum of leadership including its history to the current state of the field. In detail, he is very interested in developing contemporary models of leadership, particularly in the areas of mission leadership and empowerment. Books include: Public and Third Sector Leadership: Experience Speaks (2014) and Leadership: the current state of play (2019). His next book - detailing the near collapse of one of Europe's largest football clubs - will be published by DC Thomson in July 2022 He is the Editor in Chief of Journal of Management Development. He entered academi a mid-career via a Foundation for Management Education/ Economic and Social Research Council Senior Fellowship at Stirling Management School, the University of Stirling, Scotland. Between 2013 and 2018, he was the Head of the Management and Marketing Division at the University of Dundee School of Business. At present, he is a Professor and Head of the Management Division in the Business School at Edinburgh Napier University. He has taught and presented in North America, the Americas, Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Australasia. Prior to entering academia, he had a 23-year career with the Royal Air Force (United Kingdom Ministry of Defence Fellow (2002)) and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. As a Regular Of ficer in the Royal Air Force, he served on 51, 55 (R) and 206 squadrons and undertook flying operations worldwide (Nimrod MR2 and Nimrod R aircraft) with extensive experience in the Middle East Theatre of Operations, Mediterranean, Europe and Atlantic Ocean area. His active service included the Gulf War (1991), the Kosovo War (1999) and United Nations Air Operations in Northern and Southern Iraq (1999 and 2000). He remains very interested in the education, training and professional development of doctors and dentists in the UK. In addition to working for a UK medical Royal College, he was a former Non-Executive Member of the Medical Directorate within NHS Scotland (Former Board Member of the Anaesthesia and Emergency Medicine Specialty Training Board and the Surgical Specialty Training Board (20102016)). His current research covers the broad spectrum of Leadership including its history and the current state of the field. In detail, he is very interested in developing contemporary models of leadership, particularly in the areas of Mission Leadership and Empowerment. Professor Paul Jones is the Head of the Business Department at Swansea University's School of Management. He is also Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and had previously held senior academic posts at Coventry University, Plymouth University and the University of South Wales. He is an experienced academic manager and researcher and is currently the Editor-in Chief of the International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour and Research and Associate Editor for the International Journal of Management Education. Professor Jones has supervised 11 doctoral students to completion and examined 38 students in Europe, Africa and Australia. Carlos Flavián is Professor of Marketing at the University of Zaragoza (SPAIN) and Chair of METODO research group. His research focuses on the analysis of people's interaction with new technologies, studying both the particularities of the technology (e.g. usability) and the perceptions, behavioral intentions and actual behaviors of consumers (adoption, recommendation, eWOM, satisfaction, loyalty, etc.). Vikas Kumar is Head of Discipline and Professor in the Discipline of International Business at the University of Sydney Business School. His previous appointments were at Bocconi University as Assistant Professor in the Department of Management, and as Visiting Scholar at Stanford University and Dunning Fellow at University of Reading. He is currently serving as Editor-in- Chief of Journal of International Management. Vikas is interested in studying the internationalization strategies employed by firms from emerging markets such as India. His research involves understanding the unique aspects of the institutional and cultural context of emerging markets and the influence context has on firm strategies. His research has been published in Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of World Business, Global Strategy Journal, Management International Review, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of International Management and Long Range Planning, among other journals in the field of international business and management. Vikas has co-edited a book on ‘Global outsourcing and offshoring’ published by Cambridge University Press and on ‘Emerging Market Firms’ published by Emerald. In a 2016 study published in the Journal of International Management, Vikas was ranked among the top 15 authors based on impact in the field of ‘emerging market firm internationalization’.
Dr. Arun Upadhyay teaches finance courses in the College of Business at Florida International University. His primary teaching area is corporate finance. Before moving to academic world, Dr. Upadhyay worked for several years with a commercial bank in the area of credit analysis and international banking. He received Ph.D. in finance from Temple University. Prior to moving to FIU, he taught at University of Nevada, Reno where he received the College of Business Best Researcher award twice. He also taught at University of Alaska Anchorage where he was awarded College of Business and Public Policy Best Teacher award. Dr. Upadhyay served on the Investment Advisory Commission of Municipality of Anchorage. He has also served as expert witness on issues related to valuation of financial securities, responsibilities of board of directors and corporate governance.
Prof. Matt Glowatz is Assistant Professor at University College Dublin (UCD)’s College of Business. Matt delivers undergraduate and postgraduate modules focusing on digital business, social media strategy, digital project management and innovation. Students have responded with enthusiasm to his pioneering use of innovative educational technologies as a way of enhancing their learning experience. These innovations have provided the basis for a number of contributions by Matt to the scholarship of teaching and learning. He is especially interested in digital learning and his doctoral research is on how augmented reality might be used to effectively deliver content for distance learning students. His interest in distance learning and learning in different cultures is reflected in the enthusiasm he has brought to his role as Subject Area Coordinator on our overseas modules.
As part of this role he initiated, re-designed and implemented a new BBS Digital Business pathway in our Singapore and Hong Kong programmes and re-imagined a range of our undergraduate modules. Rajendra (Raj) Khandekar, Ph.D.is a Professor of Management at the Metropolitan State University of Denver. He received his B.Tech (Honors) in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He earned his PGDM from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and his Ph.D. in Business from the University of Kansas.
Raj has taught at graduate and undergraduate levels at institutions such as IIM Calcutta, University of Kansas, University of Colorado, and Regis University. His primary teaching interests are in the area of Strategic Management and Leadership. He has been a pioneer at MSU Denver in Online teaching since 1998, and has consistently received excellent teaching evaluations from both on-ground and online students. He was the first recipient of “Excellence in Teaching” award in the MBA program at the School of Professional Studies, Regis University, Denver.

Before his retirement from SEBI on April 30, 2018, he was working as the Chief General Manager in the Enquiry & Adjudication Department of SEBI, Mumbai and has passed several important quasi-judicial orders.
In connection with his work with SEBI, he has attended programmes pertaining to the Securities Market in India, USA, UK, Canada and Singapore. The organisations visited by him include the World Bank, US- Securities and Exchange Commissions, the Financial Conduct Authority-UK, the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the American University and the International Organisation of Securities Commissions (IOSCO).
He has been a guest speaker to several organizations such as at IIM Bengaluru, CBI Academy Ghaziabad, Maharashtra Police Academy Nashik, Enforcement Directorate Mumbai, the National Institute of Securities Markets, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Bombay Stock Exchange, National Stock Exchange and Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune. He was also a Speaker at the IOSCO–Harvard Law School Global Certification Programme for Regulators of Securities Markets Madrid- Spain, at a webinar on 'Insider Trading- Compliance and Beyond' by the CFA Institute, the Central Michigan University-USA and the Wyoming University-USA. He has also attended securities market related discussions on TV and Radio in India.
Currently, Mr. Gupta is engaged in the Legal Profession relating to the Securities Markets. He is also a member of the Committees of a Stock Exchange as an Independent External Expert.
DR. AMITABH S. DUTTA

Dr. Amitabh S. Dutta is currently an Associate Professor of Finance at Florida Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Florida (Florida Tech). He has an entrepreneurial background having been a partner/director in and managed several business ventures in India.
His entrepreneurial expertise lies in manufacturing, inventory management and financial cost control and forecasting. Dr. Dutta has a B.Sc. (Statistics) from Elphinstone College, Mumbai; an M.B.A. from Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, North Carolina; and a Ph.D. in Finance from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
His research interests are in corporate policy, investments, capital flows, and macroeconomic issues. Recently, he co-edited a book of research papers on the Indian economy with Dr. Kishore G. Kulkarni. The book is titled, “Role of Freedom in Economic Development of India” and is published by LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing, Germany. The book originally in English, has since been translated into German, French, Dutch, Portuguese, and Italian as well.
Mr. Anuj Ranjan is a career central banker. After passing out post-graduation in science from Patna University, he joined State Bank as a Probationary Officer and worked in the branch banking for about a year and a half. Thereafter, Mr. Ranjan joined Reserve Bank of India as a Manager. Mr. Ranjan started his career in RBI with managing operations relating to currency management. While he was associated with management of currency operations, he was actively involved in planning, forecasting and distribution of banknotes in the state of Bihar and North Eastern states. Mr. Ranjan then moved to HR operations and was associated with administration and personnel management at Kolkata Office of the RBI, one of the biggest regional office of the Central Bank of the country. Based on his efficient management skills, he was moved to Central Office of RBI to take care of pan India HR policies of the RBI. He contributed to several policy initiatives of RBI including Employee Welfare, Employee Compensation, Special Recruitments, Promotion and Placement policies to name a few. He was also part of the committees on manpower planning while he was taking care of HR operations at Central Office of RBI. He has been associated with policy making related to banking, non-banking and cooperative sector regulations in the recent past and is presently a General Manger overseeing work relating to FinTech, Central Bank Digital Currency, Reserve Bank Innovation Hub, Regulatory sandbox and other innovative banking technology related developments.
Shri Ranjan has been Associate Editor of the in-house magazine of the RBI – ‘Without Reserve’. Throughout his career of close to two decades, he has taken innovative steps to bring positive improvements in the functioning of RBI. Winning Gold has been his forte. In addition to be a gold medallist in Patna University, he has been keeping the tradition of winning awards. Mr Ranjan was felicitated as the best employee of the year by the then Governor RBI, Dr. Raghuram Rajan in the year 2016 in recognition of his exceptional services for the Bank. Shri Ranjan was part of the HR team which received the 'Khel Protsahan Purashkar' announced by the Government of India for taking initiatives in the area of recruitment of meritorious sportspersons in the Reserve Bank. Mr. Ranjan is a Leadership Coach and has been a speaker in several conferences conducted in the banking industry. He has been a regular speaker in various programmes on banking, HR conducted by NIBM, Pune besides other institutions of repute. He is an Assessor, with deep knowledge of understanding human behaviours and is a certified Assessor by XLRI Jamshedpur. He is a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB). He is certified on Big Five Personality Profiling as also to administer and debrief “Personality and Preference Inventory (PAPI)” psychometric test by Cubics, Guildford, UK
Before joining Cardiff Metropolitan University in February 2003, Mukul worked in industry as a consultant and was involved in consultancy projects (within marketing and operations) with various organisations. He has been involved with a number of modules on the MBA programme (such as Strategic Management, People and Organisations, International Management and Operations Management). He was taken on various responsibilities on the MBA programme over the years (being Welfare Director, Dissertation Convenor and more recently he has led the programme as the Programme Director). He has had active involvement in the TNE operation of the university in various countries such as Oman, Bulgaria, India and Morocco etc. He is currently the Associate Dean (International) within the Cardiff School of Management.
Mukul has been involved in INFORMS (Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences), EuSpRIG (European Spreadsheets Risk Interest Group) and AIS (Academy of Information Systems). He is also a Fellow of the HEA (Higher Education Academy) and a member of the Special Interest Group on ‘Internationalisation’.
Mukul is currently a Visiting Faculty and on Advisory Committee for Annual Research Conference at Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS), India and has been on visits to State University of New York, USA as a Visiting Faculty.
Besides academia, his other interests are listening to music, playing sports (with a keen interest in Cricket) and travelling.
