Guidelines to Authors


Abstract Submission

  • Authors need to submit their abstracts using the link given below.
  • Submission link of the SIMSARC
  • It should be an original and unpublished research work
  • One author can submit maximum, two research papers
  • The research paper should have an abstract of 1,000-1,200 words with 5-7 keywords.
  • Abstract should contain these sections : Purpose/Objective, Design/methodology, Findings/Conclusion, Originality/contribution/value
  • Names of authors, affiliation, mobile number and email id must be included in the paper.
  • Times New Roman, Font size-12, paragraph spacing of 1.0 and normal margins

Full Paper Submission

  • The paper should be an original work of the author(s) and be composed in not more than 6000 words, including graph, figures and tables
  • Paper should be presented in 2 parts : Cover Page, Full Paper
  • Full paper should not have name, affiliation of the author
  • Times New Roman, Font size-12, paragraph spacing of 1.0 and normal margins
  • All the graph, figures and tables should be labelled
  • One author can submit maximum two research papers
  • All research papers will be blind reviewed by an external panel of eminent experts.
  • APA style of referencing should be used
  • One of the authors must pre-register for the conference within one week after acceptance of the paper to ensure inclusion of the paper in the conference program.
  • Only paper presented will be published.
  • Similarity/plagiarism should be below 10%
  • After the payment, applicants are required to mail the screenshot of NEFT/RTGS/DD number of the same at simsarc@sims.edu.

Best Paper Awards

  • 2 Best paper will be adjudged and certificate will be awarded for faculty/academicians/industry
  • 2 Best paper will be adjudged and certificate will be awarded for doctoral paper
  • 3 Best paper will be adjudged and certificate will be awarded for Student Research Paper
  • 3 Best paper will be adjudged and certificate will be awarded for Summer Internship Project
  • For the award of best paper minimum of 7 papers in each track
  • Decision would be taken based on review comments, session chair comments, faculty comments, discussant comments, theme, research methodology, overall quality, contribution to the body of knowledge and presentation.
  • Decision of the conference committee would be final.

Guidelines for full-paper submission(students)

  • The paper should be an original work of the author(s) and be composed in not more than 4000 words, including graph, figures and tables
  • Paper should be presented in 2 parts : Cover Page, Full Paper
  • Full paper should not have name, affiliation of the author
  • Times New Roman, Font size-12, paragraph spacing of 1.0 and normal margins
  • All the graph, figures and tables should be labelled
  • One student can submit only one research paper
  • All research papers will be blind reviewed by an external panel of eminent experts.
  • APA style of referencing should be used
  • Student must pre-register for the conference within one week after acceptance of the paper to ensure inclusion of the paper in the conference program.
  • Only paper presented will be published, if found suitable.
  • Similarity/plagiarism should be below 10%
  • After the payment, students are required to mail the screenshot of NEFT/RTGS/DD number of the same at simsarc@sims.edu.
  • Last Date to Upload Abstract: 30 September 2020, and full paper submission by 15th October 2020.

Doctoral Paper Presentation

  • There will be a separate track of doctoral paper presentation
  • 2 best doctoral papers will be adjudged and certificate will be awarded
  • The research scholars should submit their papers along with their research guide/supervisor
  • A paper can’t have more than 2 authors viz. research scholar and research supervisor (in case of joint guide a mail should be sent to conference committee seeking approval for inclusion of name)
  • No Two or more, research scholars can write a single paper together 
  • Research scholars are required to send their abstract and full name, as per the guidelines mentioned above
  • The research paper can be of the following areas:-
Marketing Finance Supply Chain Organizational Behavior
Economics Entrepreneurship accounting Information technology
Operations Strategic management Human Resource Management Statistics
Banking General management Corporate Governance Any other

Summer Internship Project (SIP) Competition

The conference provides a platform to MBA students to recognize and reward high quality summer internship project. The students who are chosen for this will be given monetary award along with a certificate of appreciation. This is an open competition to all the students of MBA or equivalent those who have done their summer internship as part of their curriculum. It will also provide an opportunity to the students to interact with other students along with the industry experts.

Eligibility

  • Summer project is an individual project and it should have only one student as author and presenter
  • Summer Project should have been undertaken by student in the month of March-July, 2020
  • Summer Project should be of Master’s Degree Programme

General

  • Please refer to Guidelines To Authors “ Full paper submission guidelines”
  • Students need to submit a declaration duly signed by head/principal/director of the institute (refer to website for the format).
  • Student should also mail the letter from the company which is a certificate that the project was completed in that company
  • Please refer to registration details and account details for registration and payment
  • Each student will be given a certificate of participation
  • 3 Best paper will be adjudged and certificate will be awarded for Summer Internship Competition
  • Permission to present the project should be taken by student from college, company and all other concerned parties along with declaration that no copyright is violated and SIMS will not be responsible for any such violation
