The SIMS Alumni Cell endeavours to create a closed-knit network that allows its students to create a lifelong bond with their alma mater. With an overall mission to connect, inform and engage the alumni, students and the institute, the cell strives to generate a multi-faceted support for SIMS. The cell conducts meets in a number of cities such as Delhi, Bangalore, and Pune so as to make the alumni feel connected with the institute by assisting the current batches via guest lectures, placement procedures, workshops and industrial visits.Alumni Cell endeavors to create a close knit network that will sustain and strengthen a lifelong bond between the alumni, students and SIMS by connecting, informing and engaging the alumni with the Institute.

The SIMS Alumni Cell hosted AYANTAM- Alumni Reunion for the Batch of 2000 in the month of November 2020. It was the first ever virtual reunion that was held to celebrate the 20-year milestone of the batch. The event was a trip down memory lane and helped our alumni relive some memorable moments from their days at SIMS.


The SIMS Alumni Cell hosted Retrouvaille- Alumni Reunion for the Batch of 2010 in the month of January 2021. It was the second virtual reunion that was held to celebrate the 2010 batch which completed more than a decade of being SIMS Alumni. Adv. Padmaja Sukhatme graced the event with her special appearance and made it even more memorable.


The SIMS Alumni Cell had the pleasure of hosting a Panel Discussion – Reaching the HERizon for the student managers of the Batch of 2022. We had with us our esteemed alumni, Ms. Shweta Srivastava, Ms. Shara Faruqi, Ms. Solonie Pathania and Ms. Smita Mishra who actively participated and gave their valuable inputs in the panel discussion held in October 2020.


The SIMS Alumni cell had the pleasure of hosting multiple sessions of the prestigious event Tête-à-Tête for the student managers. The events included insightful questions giving everyone a glimpse of the corporate world as well as segments which brought out the unposed side of our alumni.
The Tête-à-Têtes also gave the opportunity to the student managers to interact with our illustrious alumni which provided them with valuable inputs for their upcoming corporate journey.

Pune Round Table- December 2019

The Alumni Cell organized a round table discussion in December 2019 at SIMS, Pune. The event was filled with enthusiastic alumni ranging from senior batches such as the Batch of 1998 to the more recent ones from the Batch of 2014, getting together and discussing plans with great fervor for the betterment of SIMSites.


There was a reunion in Singapore where alumni from different batches came together and had an Alumni Meet.


The National Alumni Meet of 2019 carried the theme of Elysian. With the entire institute participating in the event, NAM 2019 was filled with music, dance, food and beautiful backdrops to take pictures to cherish. Different cells and clubs take part in the National Alumni Meet, like SUR, Vibes, Entrepreneurship Cell, Sports cell etc. The SIMS Social, Pitch Perfect and the cultural evening were the highlights of NAM 2019. There is an award ceremony, honoring the success of our prestigious alumni who have been doing well as well as giving back to their Alma mater.


The Delhi Alumni Meet 2019 was held in August at The Pllazio Hotel, Gurugram. The occasion was filled with enthusiastic alumni getting together and rejoicing in the presence of each other.


The Bengaluru Alumni Meet 2019 was held in July at Fairfield By Marriott, Rajajinagar. The alumni Cell started the season of alumni meets with the Bengaluru Alumni Meet 2019.


Each year, a series of Guest Lectures are conducted under the event called INGENIO which are delivered by our illustrious alumni. SIMS Alumni Cell invited four of our esteemed Alumni for the Ingenio Panel Discussion Series. We were graced by the presence of Ms. Ruchi Singh (Batch 2001), Rohini Unnikrishnan (Batch 2014), Aditya Dhuri (Batch 2014) & Saamarth Bali (Batch 2015). The discussion was on "Corporate Storytelling" where everyone shared their experiences and stories. The Batch of 2021 had a great time interacting with these alumni on campus!


The Alumni Cell conducts a number of guest lectures where the Alumni come to campus and speak to the current batch about the different topics related to their 2019, there were five alumni who visited campus and enlightened the student managers.

National Alumni Meet 2018

National Alumni Meet 2018 – Luminaire held in October was a memorable event filled with colorful décor, beautiful performances, lip smacking food and lots of laughter, nostalgia & love.


Hyderabad Corporate Luncheon 2018

Alumni ranging from the Batch of 1999 to the Batch of 2018 got together and discussed crucial agendas such as: Partnering with corporates for research & consultancy assignments, Mentorship Program, College Placements to name a few. The alumni had addressed the paramount objective of the Luncheon which was to strengthen the ties between the trio - SIMS-Alumni-Students.

The Alumni Cell hosted a corporate luncheon in the month of December 2018 at Hyatt Regency, Mumbai. Alumni ranging from the batch of 2002 to the batch of 2015 got together and discussed plans for the betterment of SIMSites.


Continuing with the legacy of collaborating with the alumni to celebrate their excellence in diverse fields, SIMS Alumni Cell conducts interactive guest sessions as part of the INGENIO series. With themes such as “Fueling the spark within” and “Death of Print Media and Emergence of Social Media” the speakers offer an astute perspective to the student managers with their rich experiences.
