Kishore G. Kulkarni has been the Distinguished Professor of Economics at the Metropolitan State University of Denver, Denver, Colorado since 1989 As an Adjunct Professor, he has also taught at the University of Colorado-Boulder, Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver, Colorado State University and Colorado School of Mines. Prof. Kulkarni completed B.A. (Economics) (First Rank in Merit) and M.A. (Economics) (Second rank in Merit) degrees from the University of Poona, (now called Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU)) India. He migrated to the U.S.A. in 1976 and completed M.A. (Economics) and Ph.D. (Economics) degrees from the University of Pittsburgh, before entering into his real passion of full time teaching in 1980 His extra-ordinary teaching skills have brought him several teaching laurels including 2001 Outstanding Teaching Award by the Golden Key International Honor Society, inclusion of his biography in Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers (1998) and Best Teaching Award by Student Economic Society, 2014 His humorous, but educational teaching style has made him one of the most sought after professors. He was selected in the Spring 1994 voyage of the Semester at Sea Program, and he has also delivered many special lectures and seminars all over the world by traveling to around 30 countries.
Prof. Kulkarni has authored and/or edited (or co-authored and co-edited) ten books, some of which have become famous textbook adoptions in USA and Indian universities. Sixth edition of his Macro textbook is published by Kendall/Hunt Publishing Company in 2019, and he has co-edited a book on India in May 2020 He has authored (or co-authored) 160 refereed journal articles, all of which can be seen on www.researchgate.net . He serves as the Chief Editor of International Review of Business and Economics (IRBE) (see www.irbejournal.com). For his numerous research activities, Dr. Kulkarni was recognized with Outstanding Faculty Researcher/Scholar Award by the Golden Key International Honor Society in 1997 In 2004, the Faculty Senate of the Metropolitan State University of Denver handed him “Distinguished Service Award”, it was followed by the “Extra-ordinary Service Award” by the University President in 2010 In 2012 the Dean of the College of Business, recognized him as the first “Distinguished Professor” in college of business. In May 2017 Non Resident Indians (NRI) Welfare Society of India gave him “Pravasi Ratan” award. In March 2019 the Federation of Business Disciplines (FBD) recognized him as the “Outstanding Educator Award” recipient, together with GISR Foundation, New Delhi which offered him “Outstanding Overseas Academician” in 2019
To carry out his research activities, he has held Visiting Research Fellowships and has received many research grants from several institutions such as Institute of Humane Studies (IHS), Arlington VA, National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Pune, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Mumbai, and Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai.
Prof. Kulkarni resides in Denver, Colorado with his wife Jayashree, (M.Com and MBA) an accounting professor, and their daughters Lina (an Orthodontics, www.kulkarniortho.com) married to Dr. Nicolas Politano (an oral Surgeon); and Aditi (Business Attorney) married to Mr. Patrick Knight (an Engineer). His wife and Dr. Kulkarni have been regular tennis players at different levels for more than 42 years.
Currently working as an Associate Professor in the University of Sydney Business School. Ravi has a masters in industrial engineering from NITIE, a Graduate Diploma in Adult Education with distinction from University of Technology Sydney and a PhD in business from the University of Western Sydney. Ravi teaches and researches in the areas of technology adoption, process management and learning.
He has 20 years of academic experience in leading Australian Universities such as University of Sydney, Macquarie Graduate School of Management, University of Western Sydney and Queensland University of Technology. Prior to joining academe, Ravi has 10 years of corporate consulting experience and consulted in the fields of operations and information management, organizational restructuring and supply chain management.
His research explores the evolving relationships between IT innovations and performance in organizations, supply chains and health care. His research was published in several leading international journals including Information Systems Frontiers, Australian Accounting Review, Information Systems Journal, Business Process Management Journal, Engineering Management Journal and in several international conference proceedings. Ravi’s research was funded by competitive national and university grants worth $400,000 over 15 years period and has published more than 110 refereed research articles individually and in collaboration with professors in Europe, Asia, India and Australia.
He lead several teaching and learning innovations including work integrated learning, simulation gaming, technology integration into business curriculum. In the university sector he served as a chair person of research ethics committee, member of Graduate studies board, University academic board nominee; and in various national and international boards with the roles such as chair person Supply Chain Council ANZ, member in APICS Supply chain research committee, member – Association of Information Systems Education committee and is currently a member of Governing Councils and Academic boards of several higher education providers in Australia.
He has co-chaired and organized several international conferences, delivered several key note/plenary addresses at various international forums and conferences and won three best international research paper awards. He is a visiting professor at the Georgia State University, Singapore Management University, University of Stuttgart, University of Potsdam and others.

Vikas Kumar is Head of Discipline and Professor in the Discipline of International Business at the University of Sydney Business School. His previous appointments were at Bocconi University as Assistant Professor in the Department of Management, and as Visiting Scholar at Stanford University and Dunning Fellow at University of Reading. He is currently serving as Editor-in- Chief of Journal of International Management. Vikas is interested in studying the internationalization strategies employed by firms from emerging markets such as India. His research involves understanding the unique aspects of the institutional and cultural context of emerging markets and the influence context has on firm strategies. His research has been published in Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of World Business, Global Strategy Journal, Management International Review, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of International Management and Long Range Planning, among other journals in the field of international business and management. Vikas has co-edited a book on ‘Global outsourcing and offshoring’ published by Cambridge University Press and on ‘Emerging Market Firms’ published by Emerald. In a 2016 study published in the Journal of International Management, Vikas was ranked among the top 15 authors based on impact in the field of ‘emerging market firm internationalization’.
Dr. Arun Upadhyay teaches finance courses in the College of Business at Florida International University. His primary teaching area is corporate finance. Before moving to academic world, Dr. Upadhyay worked for several years with a commercial bank in the area of credit analysis and international banking. He received Ph.D. in finance from Temple University. Prior to moving to FIU, he taught at University of Nevada, Reno where he received the College of Business Best Researcher award twice. He also taught at University of Alaska Anchorage where he was awarded College of Business and Public Policy Best Teacher award. Dr. Upadhyay served on the Investment Advisory Commission of Municipality of Anchorage. He has also served as expert witness on issues related to valuation of financial securities, responsibilities of board of directors and corporate governance.
Matt Glowatz is Assistant Professor at University College Dublin (UCD)’s College of Business.
Matt delivers undergraduate and postgraduate modules focusing on digital business, social media strategy, digital project management and innovation. Students have responded with enthusiasm to his pioneering use of innovative educational technologies as a way of enhancing their learning experience. These innovations have provided the basis for a number of contributions by Matt to the scholarship of teaching and learning. He is especially interested in digital learning and his doctoral research is on how augmented reality might be used to effectively deliver content for distance learning students. His interest in distance learning and learning in different cultures is reflected in the enthusiasm he has brought to his role as Subject Area Coordinator on our overseas modules. As part of this role he initiated, re-designed and implemented a new BBS Digital Business pathway in our Singapore and Hong Kong programmes and re-imagined a range of our undergraduate modules.
Matt has been included in the UCD College of Business Dean’s List of Outstanding Teachers in both 2019 and 2020, received twice the Excellence in Teaching Awards in the Higher Diploma of Business Studies (IT) programme, and won the Educational Contribution Award at the Irish Internet Association's Net Visionary Awards 2006 recognizing his significant contribution to the Irish Internet Industry through education.
In July 2015, Matt has been appointed co-chair of the Bled e-Conference special interest group focusing on Education in the Digital Economy.
In June 2017, he was awarded with the Bled eConference Fellow Award 2017 in appreciation of outstanding contributions to the Bled eConference.

Rajendra (Raj) Khandekar, Ph.D. is a Professor of Management at the Metropolitan State University of Denver. He received his B.Tech (Honors) in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He earned his PGDM from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and his Ph.D. in Business from the University of Kansas.
Raj has taught at graduate and undergraduate levels at institutions such as IIM Calcutta, University of Kansas, University of Colorado, and Regis University. His primary teaching interests are in the area of Strategic Management and Leadership. He has been a pioneer at MSU Denver in Online teaching since 1998, and has consistently received excellent teaching evaluations from both on-ground and online students. He was the first recipient of “Excellence in Teaching” award in the MBA program at the School of Professional Studies, Regis University, Denver.
Raj’s main research interests are in Strategic Management and Leadership. He has presented and published several research papers and cases in the field of Strategic Management. Currently he is working on his book on Strategic Leadership.
Raj has consulted with businesses as well as non-profit organizations. He has conducted strategic management training for small businesses, and diversity training in partnership with other consulting firms for large companies.
Mr. Kalia has been a career Banker for nearly four decades .A Gold medalist Post Graduate in Political Science, Mr. Kalia joined Bank of Baroda in 1973 and worked in several capacities up to the level of General Manager in Bank of Baroda till 2008 when he was appointed as Executive Director of Vijaya Bank by Government of India. Mr. Kalia also served as Executive Director of Union Bank of India till his superannuation in 2011

Dr. Vishaal Baulkaran is an Associate Professor of Finance and Finance Area Chair at the Dhillon School of Business, University of Lethbridge. Dr. Baulkaran holds a Ph.D. from Wilfrid Laurier University, an MBA, and a BBA majoring in Finance from the University of New Brunswick. He is a CFA® Charterholder. Dr. Baulkaran has published his research in the Journal of Corporate Finance, International Review of Finance, Journal of Real Estate Economics and Finance, Journal of Asset Management, Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, Multinational Finance Journal, Journal of Economics and Business, and Advances in Financial Economics. Dr. Baulkaran has received several external (SSHRC), FP Canada Research Foundation Grant and internal university research grants. Dr. Pawan Jain received his Ph.D. in Finance from The University of Memphis in 2013 and a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of Wyoming in 2008 He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). He is also a Blockchain expert as certified by the American Institute of CPAs®.
Dr. Jain has authored several scholarly articles in leading finance and real estate journals such as the Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Financial Markets, Financial Management, Journal of real Estate Finance and Economics, etc. He has won several awards and honors for his high quality research and outstanding teaching. He has made over 200 presentations at professional meetings and has also been invited to present his research at several premier business schools, such as the University of Mississippi, Indian Institute of Management (Bangalore, Kolkata, and Indore), Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, University of Wyoming, University of Memphis, and Marquette University, among others.
