Every year, Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS), Pune, organizes its annual Research Conference ‘SIMSARC’ with a view to provide an opportunity to researchers and scholars alike to present their research papers and participate in the conference. This year, as part of the Faculty of Management, Symbiosis International University, SIMS takes immense pleasure in announcing its annual Research Conference, SIMSARC14 on 13th & 14th December, 2014..

The theme of the Research Conference is:

“Transformational Leadership: Towards engaging Competitive Business & Social Harmony”

It has been perceived that personal attributes (e.g.charismatic, transformational, etc..) of the leader could help in understanding the potential relationship between transformational leadership and strategic decisions and the choices, which affect the outcome of the competitive businesses and society at large.

Transformational leadership is achieved by elevating followers’ motivational needs while expanding understanding and its perspectives. There is a burgeoning need for additional multidisciplinary research bridging conceptualizations of the role of transformational leaders in determining the extent of their engagement for the growth and common good of competitive business and societies; to investigate the potential effects of business and corporates at macro levels & human beings at the micro-levels.


SIMSARC14 Objectives 
To implore theorists and researchers about various paradigms that may provide new possibilities regarding bridging the understanding of theoretical and empirical linkages between transformational leadership and resultant achievements in competitive businesses and society.


SIMSARC is an Annual International Research Conference of Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune. SIMSARC provides an opportunity to researchers, corporates and scholars to enrich body of knowledge through their contribution through research.

SIMSARC also offers a platform to the researchers and scholars to share their thoughts and ideas.
