The Post Graduate Diploma program is a joint venture between Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) and SIMS commencing June 2008. SCB is the largest foreign bank operating in India and its Consumer Banking Academy will leverage on the academic rigour of SIMS to develop professionals in the banking industry by:
Equipping them with knowledge of financial markets and products.
Enabling on the job training in the Consumer Bank division working with successful teams.
Working with successful teams and being mentored by experienced managres.

Selection
Students will be selected through a joint selection by SCB and SIMS and will be offered an assured employment in SCB on successful completion of their training. The PG program will be for 12 months with academic training followed by internship/class room training/projects assignments.
Curriculum
The focus of the curriculum is on the banking and finance domain alongwith special emphasis on connecting with the customer and service excellence.
Candidates should be graduates of a statutory University and have appeared in SNAP 2007 entrance test OR possess work experience of over a year preferably in sales.
