Executive MBA Programme (Exe-MBA)
Programme Structure - 2013-16
Objective :
To provide high quality management education to students through advancement of knowledge in all business related disciplines and development of ethos of corporate professionalism in Student Managers.

Duration : 30 Months

Intake : 120 seats

Reservation of seats:
: Not Applicable (a. Open to all b. Admissions to Defence Officers over and above the intake capacity)

Eligibility : A student seeking admission for the Programme must possess Bachelor's Degree of any Statutory University or any other recognized Foreign University with Three years' Work Experience.

Programme Pattern : Semester Pattern -Total 5 Semesters

Courses and Specializations : Marketing, Finance & Operations -Subject to min 20 students per specialisation

Examination and
Method of Assessment
:
All Internal Courses will have 100% component as internal evaluation at the Institute level. All External Courses will have 60% internal component and 40% component as external [University] exam.

Standard of Passing :
The assessment of the students for each course is done based on the relative performance of the student compared to the class average. Maximum GP is 4 corresponding to A+. For all the courses, a student is required to pass both internal and external exams separately with a minimum Grade Point of 1.6 corresponding to the grade of D- Grade Point Average.

Award of Degree :
"EXECUTIVE-MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION" (Exe-MBA) will be awarded at the end of 5th semester examination by taking into consideration the performance of all 5 semesters' examinations after obtaining minimum 2.00 CGPA out of 4 CGPA.
