  SIMS students entered the semi-finals of of a prestigious international competition conducted by Challenge Future. SIMS students are amongst the top 10 teams out of 200 teams which participated across the world.   2nd position at Summer Presentation Competition @  IRM Jaipur
  1st and 2nd Prize in Summer project Presentation at Matrix Business school
  Won B Plan Competition at IIPM Delhi
  1st prize at ICFAI business school competition
  3rd prize in ‘Metamorphosis’ held at Indian School of Business, Hyderabad
  Innovation in Placements award - Innovative B-School Awards by DNA & Stars of the Industry Group.

18th Business School Affaire & Dewang Mehta Business School Awards- MUMBAI
Our students won 1st prize under following categories:
  Presentation Competition (Building Borderless brand): Jayant Desai (Batch 2012), Gurtej Singh (Batch 2012)
  Best Manager: Akriti Raghuvanshi stood 13th among more than 1000 participants from different B-schools.

1st Prize in case study competition @NITIE Bombay
 

This event was a part of their annual festival "Lakshya" (http://lakshwiz.nitie.in/). Event was held in two stages:
  Stage 1: He has beaten team from IIM-A, IMT-G, TAPMI, JBIMS, IIT-B and many others. Evaluation was done by external consultancy.
  Stage 2: Was a corporate presentation round at NITIE Mumbai, five teams had qualified for it. One team from IMT Ghaziabad, three teams from TAPMI and there were we. Judges were Corporates were from Barclay and they have appreciated Amit's unique approach in solving the case.

Sports
1. SIMS students won the SIU Men's Badminton tournament in Aug 2012.
2. SIMS was runner up in "Freedom for Fitness Run" organized by SIU on 15th Aug 2012.
3. SIMS successfully organized the 3rd SIU Inter Institute Swimming tournament on 21st Sept 2012
4. SIMS was runner up in the 4x 25 mts men's freestyle relay at  3rd SIU Inter institute swimming tournament
5. Miss Arantxa Sanchis won the 6 Red National Snooker Championship in May 2012
6. Miss Arantxa Sanchis represented India in  World Billiards Championship held at Leeds, UK (18th to 28th Oct 2012)
