1. Qualification acquired on successful completion of the course.
|

You will be receiving a PG Diploma in Retail Banking and Sales from Symbiosis International University.
|

2.Stipend during the course training
|
|
Beginning from the fifth month (after the classroom training) you will be given a consolidated stipend of INR 10,000 per month.
|
|
3.Salary on confirmation
|
|
On successful completion of the course, you will be employed in Standard Chartered Bank or any of its Group Companies. The approximate salary will be around INR 300000 (3 lakhs).

4.Designation and Grade
|
|
On successful completion of the course and upon joining the bank you will be designated as ‘Consumer Banking – Graduate Trainee’. You will be an 8B officer (Entry Level Managerial Band) in the Bank.

5.What kind of job profile is offered after successful completion of the course?
|
|
Ans. The profile would be that of an Associate Sales manager, Relations Manager at Band 8 in Standard Chartered Bank. SCB focuses on the high value segment which is a niche segment. The profile would involve acquisition of new customers and maintaining and deepening relations.
These are only indicative roles and are subject to change depending on the business requirements. You may be considered for any of the roles mentioned above. If there are any changes in the roles, you will be intimated appropriately.

6. What is the location one would be placed?
|
|
You are expected to be mobile for deployment across India (during the course and your final placement post) in any of the locations where the bank operates. SCB has a pan India presence. People could be trained at any location. SCB has presence in Tier 1 & Tier 2 cities.

7. What is the difference in the career path of a SNAP candidate & a Work Experience candidate?
|
|
Ans. We treat both of them on par. The course is designed in such a way that we give people both theoretical and practical exposure.

8. Are we exposed to any examinations?
|
|
Ans. Yes, you are required to appear for exams duly conducted by SIU after the completion of the classroom training sessions. Thereon you will be graded on your on-job-training and shall have to submit a project. On successfully clearing all components, you become eligible for absorption by SCB. The first year had 100 % absorption.

9. What is the selection process?
|
|
Ans. There would be a short listing of candidates after 4th May which is the last date for receiving the application forms. This would be followed by a round of group discussions and personal interviews.
