CHECK LIST FOR GDPI 2010
The list of documents to carry by candidates for
GDPI process at SIMS:

Snap Admit card original.
-
All mark sheets from 10th till last exam passed in original.
-
All pass certificates from 10th till
highest educational qualification, if in final year bring previous year marksheets,
with appearing certificate issued by your institute/college.

The work experience letter or certificate, if applicable.
-
Letter of Appointment for candidates with work experience,
if any.
-
Category wise special documents:
1. Serving personnel dependents:
2. Retired Defense personnel dependents:

PPO (Pension Payment Order)/ bank pension letter.
-
Identity of child of retired defense personnel issued
by respective records or discharge book issued by Army/Navy/AF Head Quarters at
the time of retirement.

In case of name change/date of birth change in Defence
Records with School records, a supporting document like affidavit is required showing
identity and dependency of child.

If dependent child born after retirement, his/her
name must be recoded in the concerned defence department records.
3. Defense special:
-
PPO of special/liberalized family pension or bank
letter.
-
Dependency certificate of child issued by respective
records/discharge book issued by Army/Navy/AF Head Quarters.

In case of disability, PPO and disability pension
payment or bank letter.

In case of name change/date of birth change in Defence
Records with School records, a supporting document like affidavit is required showing
identity and dependency of child.

If dependent child born after retirement/death,
his/her name must be recoded in the concerned defence department records.
4. Industry sponsored:
-
Company sponsorship letter with authorized signature
and company seal, as per terms given in SIMS prospectus.

Company latest Annual report.
NOTE –
For all defence category Appendix A/B concerned signed by ZSWO/RSWO (Zila Sainik
Welfare Officer/Rajya Sainik Welfare Officer) will not be accepted, it should be
from Records/Nearby Defence Units/HQs.
Dress Code:
For male candidates – Business suit or blazer,
preferably dark colored.
For female candidates – Business formals or
saree.
